Overview

A major component of receiving a doctorate is doing research and communicating science. The primary focus of this page is my research completed during my PhD journey at Auburn University focussing on two major projects:

1. Demonstrating cooperative addition (Metal Ligand Cooperativity) of small molecules (small molecule activation) to a phosphinine-metal complex

2. Using Cyclic (Alkyl) (Amino) Carbenes to stabilize electron rich metal-oxo complexes for selectively oxidizing methane to methanol
